Stop by 2205 E. Franklin Blvd., Suite 100, and you'll find Viva Chicken, a Peruvian rotisserie chicken chain. The chicken is marinated for 24 hours in an authentic spice mix, then roasted in a Peruvian-made rotisserie oven over hardwood charcoal.
Menu offerings include the Sopa de Pollo, made with pulled rotisserie chicken, homemade chicken broth, cilantro-infused rice, onions red peppers and cilantro; crispy yuca with huancaína sauce (traditional creamy queso fresco sauce); and classic saltado, made with sirloin, onions, tomato, cilantro, french fries and jasmine rice. Sides include plantains, yuca, chicken soup, fresh fruit and house salad.

Xcite's Sweet Connections is a new spot to score sweet treats that's located at 1206 S. York St. And with five stars out of nine reviews on Yelp, it's been a hit thus far.
Look for Thai ice cream rolls, which come in flavors like apple pie a la mode, chocolate chip cookie dough, lemon tart, red velvet cake and more. Taiwanese shaved snow ice is also available, as are Italian artisanal gelato flavors.
