1. Harmony Bakery

Topping the list is Harmony Bakery. Located at 3446 Chestnut Ave. in Hampden, it is the highest rated gluten-free spot in Baltimore, boasting five stars out of 103 reviews on Yelp. Everything here is gluten free and vegan, made from scratch with locally sourced and organic ingredients whenever possible. There are breads, bagels, cakes, doughnuts and other sweet treats. You'll also find a menu of quiches and tarts, soups, a quinoa burger, salads and more.
2. Sweet 27 Cafe and Bakery

Next up is Charles Village's Sweet 27 Cafe and Bakery, situated at 123 W. 27th St. Everything is 100 percent gluten free here, too. Baked goods run from cupcakes and muffins to cookies and bread, with many vegan options. There's also a cafe serving omelet and scramble breakfasts, and a brunch menu of tacos, pizzas, burgers and more. With four stars out of 199 reviews on Yelp, this spot has proven to be a local favorite.
3. Nalley Fresh

Nalley Fresh is a local mini-chain, bringing the fast-casual concept to wraps, salads and bowls. Located at 400 E. Pratt St. in the Inner Harbor, the eatery's signature recipes include the sweet potato bowl, with your choice of protein, plus sweet potato, veggies, pumpkin seed, oranges, chicken bacon, wheat berries, provolone and balsamic vinaigrette.
Or try the Blue Collar salad of rice, black beans, spinach, tomato, purple slaw, pretzel shells, egg, bacon, corn, provolone cheese and spicy ranch dressing. You can also build your own bowl, wrap or salad at the popular spot, which has earned four stars out of 87 Yelp reviews.
4. T-Swirl Crepe

Finally, over in Charles Village, check out T-Swirl Crepe, which has earned four stars out of 66 reviews on Yelp. The Japanese-originated crêpe made from rice flour is gluten free. The resulting crispy cones are either sweet like the banana chocolate or mango raspberry, or savory like the spicy crab meat or Thai chicken.
