In need of a new tie or a wardrobe overhaul? The Tie Bar, a menswear retailer, has opened its first Washington shop at 1431 P St. NW in Logan Circle.
The Tie Bar started in Chicago and is now in select cities across the U.S. It offers shirts, jackets, ties and socks for men through its website and at small stores like this one. It also sells accessories like pocket squares, cufflinks and belts. (You can check out its collections here.)
The Tie Bar is off to a promising start with a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.
Stanley L., who reviewed the new store on Aug. 14, wrote, "Bought my groomsman ties for my wedding here. ... When we showed up they had 10 ties and pocket squares ready for us to look at. Antonio and Yasmeen were very knowledgeable and helped my fashion-impaired self match and complement colors with everything."
And Nate D. wrote, "I love the website and I'm glad to have stumbled upon this new storefront in my neighborhood. Antonio and Yasmeen went the extra mile to ensure I got everything I needed."
