A new spot to score tacos and more has opened for business in the neighborhood. Called The Yard, the newcomer is located on the fourth floor of the Le Méridien hotel at 1121 19th St. North in Rosslyn.
It's on an outdoor terrace with views of the surrounding Arlington office buildings. It's serving not just tacos, but also sliders, guacamole and quesadillas. Local brews are on tap or you can order the frosé, a frozen rosé drink.
There are games like cornhole available for your entertainment, and it's open to the public, not just hotel guests.
The Yard has just one review on Yelp, which gives it a three-star rating thus far.
Lee M., who reviewed the new spot on July 26, wrote, "The setting is really nice — cute string lights, plenty of seating and a good view. The happy hour drinks were decent, but a regular house margarita was $12, and the people in my party found them to be watery."
