Fit Body Boot Camp

Fit Body Boot Camp is a national fitness chain that specializes in 30-minute workout sessions designed to burn fat, tone muscles and leave you feeling energized. 

According to the company on its website, the boot camp is home to Afterburn workouts, which combine high intensity interval training (HIIT) and active rest training for a greater degree of fat and calorie burning. Each session is led by an experienced and certified personal trainer that will modify each workout to help you achieve your goals. 

Yelp users are excited about Fit Body Boot Camp, which currently holds five stars out of three reviews on the site.

Yelper Mari R., who reviewed Fit Body Boot Camp on July 28, wrote, "I started my journey on June 4, 2018; don't get me wrong it was hard in the beginning, but I am getting stronger everyday. Coach Gina and Mike really care about everyone that comes to workout. They are always there to help you, push you and make sure you make the right choices."

"This place is awesome!" said Yelper Richard P. "You gotta check it out. Mike and Gina make you feel welcome and at home. Great place to sweat ... "

Fit Body Boot Camp is open from 5:30 a.m.–8:30 p.m. on weekdays and 6 a.m.–8 a.m. on Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)

DogTown Valley

DogTown Valley is a strength and conditioning training center geared toward building "general physical preparedness" (GPP) for newbies and experienced athletes alike. 

"Our GPP training is driven from the concept that you can get in incredible shape by eating right and training an hour a day, 3-5 times a week," the studio explains on its website. The gym offers all-levels classes and open gym hours Mondays through Saturdays, and its trainers assist with all types of goals — from maintaining life-long fitness to tackling competitions. (Find more information and the full class schedule here.)

DogTown Valley currently holds five stars out of two reviews on Yelp, indicating good reviews.

Yelper Tanya B., who was one of the first users to visit DogTown Valley on June 11, wrote, "If you want a gym where you're literally getting a personal trainer every class, this is it! They care about your whole body wellness and not just lifting a barbell."

DogTown Valley is open from 5:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 6:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, and 9 a.m.–11:30 p.m on Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)

Restore Fitness

Restore Fitness is a strength and conditioning spot that combines power kickboxing, interval training, yoga and martial arts for a total body workout. 

Founded by martial arts competitors and fitness professionals, this program offers personal training with highly experienced coaches "to create a stronger, better you." Both morning and evening classes are provided. (Visit the website here for the current class schedule and pricing.)

Restore Fitness's current rating of five stars out of four reviews on Yelp indicates positive attention from users.

Yelper Nancy K., who reviewed Restore Fitness on June 30, wrote, "If you want to sweat and see change, this is the place to be. Located in a kung fu studio, Restore Fitness incorporates body conditioning, cardio and some kickboxing so you can get a full body workout."

And Yelper Sonia C. noted, "Probably the best fitness class I've been to! The staff are super friendly, and the exercises are incredibly diverse."

Restore Fitness is open from noon–5 p.m. on weekdays, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. on Saturday, and noon–3 p.m. on Sunday.

Jamuna Yoga

Jamuna Yoga is a boutique yoga studio situated in the heart of downtown Los Angeles.

Certified Jivamukti teacher Jenna Faith offers the "transformative experiences of classical yoga with an urban edge" and empowers students "with a focus on breath, dynamic sequences, hip music playlists and meditative states," says the studio's Yelp page.

With just two five-star reviews so far, Jamuna Yoga has already made a positive impression.
