Lockhart Smokehouse is a barbecue joint located within the new Texas Live! restaurant complex and live music venue. This is the barbecue chain's third location overall; the other two are in Dallas and Plano.

On the menu, you'll see options like brisket (both lean and moist), turkey, half or whole chicken and the shoulder clod (leaner than brisket with a stronger beef flavor). There are also pork chops and ribs, sausages and sides like potato salad, brisket deviled eggs and smoked baked beans.

Lockhart Smokehouse currently holds 3.5 stars out of six reviews on Yelp, indicating fair reviews.

Moto S., who reviewed the barbecue spot on Aug. 23, wrote, "The ribs were pretty big, got two of them to a half pound, the brisket had good flavor and was moist and tender and, while I really don't care for the course grind sausage they use — one reason because it tends to fall apart some — it was really good as well."

Yelper Rene B. added, “Ribs were good, but the brisket was more on the dry side for me. Really enjoyed the jalapeño mac and cheese, as well as the deviled eggs. As it was in Texas Live!, the atmosphere was good."

Lockhart Smokehouse is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and 11 a.m.–midnight on Friday-Sunday.

The Tipsy Oak is a gastropub that offers a chef-curated food menu and a full bar that serves beer and wine. It also hosts live music events.

On the menu are dishes like the brisket hash with caramelized onions, barbecue sauce and two sunny side up eggs; fried bacon cheese fries; the Tipsy Smash Burger with lettuce, tomato, pickles and grilled onions on a brioche bun; and the fried chicken tender salad with hickory-smoked bacon. (See the full menu here.)

Yelpers are generally positive about The Tipsy Oak, which currently holds four stars out of 63 reviews on the site.

Carolyn N., who reviewed it on Aug. 1, wrote, "This is my new favorite place to go! This place has it all! Great vibe, friendly and attentive staff, awesome patio and food that is out of this world!"

Mallory Y. noted, "Big fan of The Tipsy Oak so far and really grateful Arlington has gained a much-needed restaurant and venue like this. ... Service has been good and the food as well. The drink prices are the only thing that seem to be a bit more than normal, but they have a full bar and a ton of beer on tap."

The Tipsy Oak is open from 11 a.m.–2 a.m. on Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Sunday.

Buffalo Wing & Grill is a New American spot, offering wings, seafood, cheesesteaks and more.

The wings come in a variety of flavors, including lemon pepper, teriyaki and barbecue. You can order them bone-in or boneless as part of a combo, with fries, dipping sauce, celery and a drink. It also has boiled seafood platters, cheesesteak sandwiches, chicken tenders, burgers and more.
