Craving pizza?
Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top pizza sources in Alexandria, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of the best spots to meet your needs.
1. Lena's Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap

Topping the list is Lena's Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap. Located at 401 E. Braddock Road in Old Town, it is the highest-rated pizza spot in Alexandria, boasting four stars out of 483 reviews on Yelp.
Choose from a list of signature Neapolitan-style pizzas, each cooked at 900 degrees in the wood-burning oven, then pair it with wine or a craft beer from a collection that is heavily weighted toward local producers. Other menu offerings include paninis, salads, house-made pastas and entrees like eggplant parmigiana.
2. Delia's

Next up is Delia's Mediterranean Grill & Brick Oven Pizza, situated at 209 Swamp Fox Road in Eisenhower. With four stars out of 447 reviews on Yelp, it has proven to be a local favorite.
The brick oven in the name churns out signature pizzas featuring ingredients like chorizo, grilled chicken, Italian sausage and ham. There's also a vegetarian pie with red onions, green peppers, tomato, Kalamata olives and feta cheese.
Non-pizza items include grilled shrimp, salmon or lamb chops, plus numerous salads, pastas, sandwiches and soups with flavors from around the Mediterranean. Pair your meal with beer, wine or a cocktail.
3. Fat City Kitchen

Fat City Kitchen, located in the Trade Center Shopping Village at 330 S. Pickett St., is another top choice. Yelpers give it four stars out of 341 reviews.
The eclectic New American menu features thin-crust pizzas made to order in a stone oven. There are just a handful of house recipes, including the Wild Mushroom Pie with tomato, onion, herb garlic butter and smoked Gouda, and the Artisan Pie of honey-Sriracha bacon, roasted marinated plum tomatoes, mozzarella, basil and a balsamic glaze. You can also design your own.
In addition to pizza, there's everything from crab cakes and fancy chicken wings to pan-seared sea scallops and cured pork belly finished with pomegranate molasses and chili oil. Beer and wine are also available.
4. Faccia Luna

Next, Faccia Luna in Old Town is another go-to, with four stars out of 300 Yelp reviews. Located at 823 S. Washington St., it features a full bar with a couple of TVs and a small outdoor patio.
The American trattoria boasts a wide-ranging menu of starters (mussels in white wine sauce, bruschetta), sandwiches (meatball hoagie, turkey grinder), and pastas (ricotta gnocchi, angel hair in marinara sauce).
Pizzas are wood-fired with a thin crust. Look for white options like the Grecco, topped with Kalamata olives, feta cheese and grilled chicken, or the Via Toscana, made from caramelized onions, prosciutto and smoked Gouda.
5. Mia's Italian Kitchen

Finally, also in Old Town, check out Mia's Italian Kitchen, which has earned four stars out of 161 reviews on Yelp. You can find it at 100 King St.
Located in a historic building, it's an elegant setting for square, Sicilian-style pizzas fired in a brick oven. Try the vegetarian Nonna's with mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes, garlic, red pepper flakes and oregano, or perhaps the spicy salami pizza with fennel, calabrese chilis, mozzarella and hot honey.
A separate brunch menu tempts with small plates like baked eggs in tomato sauce and lemon ricotta pancakes with blueberry compote, plus drinks like sangria.
