Craving seafood with a Cajun twist? You're in luck: local staple Bayseas Catfish Restaurant has opened a new location at 12151 Jones-Maltsberger Road, Suite 103, in north San Antonio.

On the menu, expect to find dishes like the fried catfish dinner (two or three fillets with fries); the po'boy with choice of oysters, shrimp or catfish; gumbo; oyster platters and more. Sides include hush puppies, onion rings, fried okra and coleslaw. Finish off your meal with a slice of cake or some banana pudding.

With a 4.5-star rating out of 15 reviews on Yelp so far, Bayseas Catfish Restaurant has already made a good impression.

Phil S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Sept. 8, wrote, "It was fantastic! Oyster po'boy was bursting with oysters and the hush puppies were filling and delicious. It was really busy when I walked in and they made a goof on my order and gave me a shrimp po'boy instead and the manager insisted they would fix it."

Yelper Misty M. added, "The food was at our table before we even got our drinks. It was hot, fresh, portions were great and reasonable prices as well. The staff was friendly and checked on us a few times while we dined."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Bayseas Catfish Restaurant is open from 10 a.m.–8 p.m. on Monday, 10 a.m.–8:30 p.m. on Tuesday-Thursday, 10 a.m.–10 p.m. on Friday, and noon–8 p.m. on Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
