Frost Bank officially opened its new Creekside Financial Center in New Braunfels on Monday, giving the city its second Frost branch. The branch sits at 2120 FM 1101, in the Creekside area of town, and started serving customers the same day it opened its doors.

The opening was reported by the Herald-Zeitung, which said the Creekside location marks Frost Bank's second branch in New Braunfels. Construction on the building began in December 2025.

That groundbreaking ceremony took place on Dec. 16, 2025, when Frost representatives gathered at the future branch site to mark the start of construction, according to the same newspaper's earlier report. At the time, Cordell Bunch, who was set to serve as the new branch's community leader, told the paper the opening was expected in late summer 2026. The Herald-Zeitung reported that the branch opened Nov. 2.

What the New Branch Offers

The Creekside Financial Center keeps lobby hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, according to Frost Bank's own location listing. The same listing shows Saturday lobby hours of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., giving weekend access that some branches don't offer.

Beyond standard teller banking, the location page lists investments, insurance, a motor bank ATM, notary services, an online banking center and night deposit service among the offerings at the new branch. Customers can also use a Smart ATM during lobby hours, per the bank's listing.

Part of a Broader Hill Country Push

The New Braunfels opening is one piece of a larger expansion Frost Bank has been running across the Texas Hill Country. A report from the San Antonio Business Journal described the bank as having three new financial centers in the works, including a Kerrville location that opened in mid-December and additional branches planned for New Braunfels and Fredericksburg in 2026.

That same report noted the Kerrville branch had already opened by the time of its publication, while the Fredericksburg location remained planned for sometime in 2026. The New Braunfels branch referenced in that report appears to be the Creekside location that has now opened on FM 1101.
