Looking for a delicious Chinese meal near you?
Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top Chinese restaurants around Catonsville, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of the best places to meet your needs.
1. Hunan Taste

Topping the list is Hunan Taste. The elaborate decor gives the restaurant an authentic feel, and the menu follows suit. Located at 718 N. Rolling Road, it is the highest-rated Chinese restaurant in Catonsville, boasting four stars out of 213 reviews on Yelp.
The dozens of home-style Hunan dishes on the menu include chef's specials like steamed fish head with diced red peppers, braised duck in brown sauce and stir-fried eel. There are also numerous hot pot, clay pot and iron plate dishes that come piping hot, plus many casseroles and soups. Reservations are recommended, especially for groups.
2. Hunan Joy

Next up is Hunan Joy, situated at 829 Edmondson Ave. It has a somewhat shorter menu of familiar favorites, with starters like egg rolls and wonton soup, and entrees like egg foo young, meat or vegetables in Sichuan sauce, and lo mein.
In addition, though, there's an entire second half of the menu dedicated to sushi, plus a handful of other Japanese dishes. With 4.5 stars out of 60 reviews on Yelp, the restaurant has proven to be a local favorite.
3. Hanoori Town

Next, Hanoori Town, located at 822 N. Rolling Road, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving it four stars out of 79 reviews. It's really more of a food court than a restaurant, and it's mostly Korean rather than Chinese, but there are several fusion dishes on offer.
Look from soups like clam with noodles and spicy duck breast, or stir-fried spicy pork. The Chat Mat stall makes hand-pulled noodles in the Chinese style, served as Korean jjajangmyun (black bean noodles) or nengmyun (cold noodles). There are also sushi and dumplings, and don't miss the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet for dishes from throughout East Asia.
4. Dragon China

Finally, there's Dragon China, another go-to, with four stars out of 18 Yelp reviews. The dine-in, takeout and delivery spot sports a menu of popular dishes, starting with egg rolls and dumplings, moving to soups like egg drop and hot and sour, and including entrees like beef with broccoli, kung pao chicken and pork fried rice.
The chef's specialties include beef and scallops with garlic sauce and butterfly shrimp with bacon, cracked almonds and red sauce. Head over to 6419 Frederick Road to try the casual eatery for yourself.
