With temperatures cooling off into the eighties and low nineties as summer winds down, all sorts of outdoor events are taking advantage of the beautiful weather. 

From the annual California Craft Brewers Association's Summit Beer Festival on the Capitol Mall to an outdoor treehouse market in Land Park, read on for a rundown of fun events happening this weekend.

Summit Beer Festival

On Saturday, the California Craft Brewers Association is putting on a beer festival, located outdoors on the Capitol Mall, to cap off its annual Craft Beer Summit. More than 160 California breweries from across the state will be pouring their unique beers on an unlimited basis for festival-goers to sample.

Tickets include entry to the event, a commemorative tasting glass and free unlimited pours. There will also be live music and food stalls (food sold separately).

When: Saturday, September 8, 12-4 p.m.

Now This Midtown Block Party

The Now This Midtown summer block parties in Lavender Heights are wrapping up with live music from Dirtybird Records' Justin Martin, Vince Lombardi, BenjamxTooth, Miagma and Ashdaddy. 

The outdoor venue will also feature a beer garden and vendors of food and art.

Tree City Treehouse Market

Also on Saturday, Facebook will be sponsoring a treehouse market in William Land Park. Admission is free, and the market will also have free face painting, free live music from local harpist Laura Sharkey, a wooden photo booth, and free food and drink (while supplies last).

The all-local vendors line will include unique imports shop Kulture, seasonal florists Thistle and Honey, furniture crafter Enchanted Wood, handmade wooden gifts purveyor Arbor Vintage, tea and spices specialists Allspicery, and vintage clothing supplier Old Gold.

Farm to Fork Uncorked in Clarksburg

Farm to Fork Uncorked is a celebration of local wine, food and produce with live music and plenty of local vendors selling food and drinks and offering seminars and tastings of their products.

The free tickets include a complimentary souvenir wine glass and live music by the Harley White Trio (a Latin jazz and American standards band) on Saturday and The Track Blues band featuring Jimmy "Cadillac" Reed on Sunday.

When: Saturday, September 8 and Sunday, September 9, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (music performances from 12:30-3:30 p.m. each day)

Sacramento Jazz Orchestra

On Sunday evening, E. Claire Raley Studios for the Performing Arts (also known as Clara) will host the Sacramento Jazz Orchestra as part of its Midtown Vanguard Jazz Series. 

Founded in 2009, the Sacramento Jazz Orchestra plays art jazz in a big-band setting. Its mission is to "strengthen the awareness of jazz through regional tours, public and private performances, educational programming and outreach events."

When: Sunday, September 9, 7-9:30 p.m.
Where: The Auditorium at Clara, 1425 24th St.
