Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the best affordable Mediterranean restaurants around Charlotte, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of the top spots to satisfy your cravings.

1. Little Village Grill

Topping the list is Little Village Grill. Located at 710 W. Trade St., Suite G, in Uptown, this is the highest-rated cheap Mediterranean restaurant in Charlotte, boasting 4.5 stars out of 213 reviews on Yelp.

Menu items include salads, subs and pitas. Look for fusion options like the cheeseburger pita with lettuce, tomato and mayo. Lamb, beef, pork and grilled chicken gyros are also available. 

2. Greco Fresh Grille

Next up is Greco Fresh Grille, situated at 9820 E. Rea Road in the Blakeney shopping center. With 4.5 stars out of 195 reviews on Yelp, the Greek and Mediterranean spot has proven to be a local favorite for those looking for a low-priced option. 

The fast-casual eatery, which has three other locations in the region, offers items like traditional lamb gyro, served in a pita with tomato, red onion and tzatziki sauce. Or, sample the Revithosalata, a chickpea salad tossed with red onion, arugula, cumin, garlic, olive oil and lemon juice.

3. Le Kebab Grill

University City's Le Kebab Grill, located at 350 E. McCullough Drive, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the affordable Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and halal spot four stars out of 360 reviews.

Menu items include lamb shawarma served with fries and tahini sauce; Philly cheesesteak with green peppers, onions, mushrooms and provolone cheese; and Turkish kebab roasted with paprika.

4. The Mad Greek of Charlotte

The Mad Greek of Charlotte, a Mediterranean spot in Madison Park, is another low-priced go-to, with four stars out of 208 Yelp reviews. Head over to 5011 South Blvd. to see for yourself.

5. Wrapway

Then there's Wrapway, which has earned five stars out of 26 reviews on Yelp. Dig in at the Mediterranean spot, which offers wraps and salads, by heading over to 10221 University City Blvd.

Menu items include the Lahmajoun, a flatbread burger topped with American cheese, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, roasted red peppers and tzatziki sauce. Vegans, check out the vegan power salad, which is made of romaine lettuce, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, walnuts, carrots, red cabbage, hemp seeds, olive oil, lemon juice and pomegranate sauce.
