A new spot to score coffee, breakfast fare, craft beer and more has debuted in the neighborhood. Located at 540 S. Presa St. in Southtown, the new arrival is called Don Martin's Coffee.
On the menu, you'll see hot beverage options like coffee, cortado, double espresso, cappuccino, latte, hot cocoa and tea. Cold beverages include cold brew coffee, juice, craft beer and wine. It also offers oatmeal, granola bars, cereal, pan dulce from Cinderella Bakery and paletas.
It has received positive feedback on Yelp so far, with a five-star rating out of six reviews.
Cynthia T., who reviewed it on Sept. 9, wrote, "The moment I set eyes on the exterior, I fell in love with Don Martin's Coffee. The outside has gorgeous paintings, and just gives off this vibe of local urban city neighborhood. ... The cortado was rich and thick, with an enjoyably bitter flavor, but not overpowering."
Bella M. added, "Love the furniture, the atmosphere and the employees. Everyone is very friendly and the iced coffee was great. The colors are vibrant and the spot feels very relaxed and welcoming."
