Looking for the best new delis in Charlotte? One of these spots might be just what you're seeking. Here are the newest places to check out the next time you're in search of a deli near you.
Common Market
235 W. Tremont Ave., Suite 103, Brookhill

Common Market is a deli, market and bar that offers both pre-made and create-your-own salad and sandwich options. After closing its doors in the South End two years ago, it recently reopened in the neighborhood at a new location that features a large outdoor patio. It has two other locations in Charlotte.
Sandwich lovers can choose between a plethora of bread options, including honey wheat, nine-grain, sourdough, rye, hoagie rolls and even gluten-free options. Meat options include turkey, ham, pastrami, salami and organic baked tofu. Finish your sandwich off with your choice of cheese, veggies, spread and condiments.
Vegetarian or vegan? Common Market's got you covered. Check out options like the Mid-Eastern sandwich, made with hummus, tabouleh, red onion, green bell peppers, red cabbage and sprouts in your choice of wrap.
With a 3.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, Common Market is getting solid feedback.
James L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Sept. 23, wrote, "Great new place in South End and excellent patio to bring your dogs. The pimento cheese sandwich was great and the prices were very fair. This is my new local go to!"
And Jessica R. wrote, "I love the variety of seating options both inside and outside. A huge variety of sandwiches, salads and cooler meals to choose from as well! They have a nice bar inside and a coffee bar as well."
Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Common Market is open from 7 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday, 7 a.m.–11 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, 7 a.m.–midnight on Thursday, 7 a.m.–2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and 8 a.m.–10 p.m. on Sunday.

Dominique M., who reviewed it on Sept. 20, wrote, "A nice family-style restaurant. I walked in and was greeted like an old family friend. I have tried the meatball sub and the corned beef Reuben — both were very large portions."
Yelper Peter G. wrote, "I have been here five times and get the Reuben every time. The corned beef is tender, lean and cooked perfectly. It's family-owned and operated. Much better than franchise packaged meats and veggies."
Stacey's Deli & Catering is open from 10:30 a.m.–8 p.m. from Monday-Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
Deli St
2801 Central Ave., Plaza Midwood

Deli St caters to vegetarians and vegans as well as meat lovers. Favorite menu items include Briar Creek Toast, made with avocado, spinach, chickpea and vegan mayo; and the Pecan Avenue burger, a black bean patty served with vegan American cheese, eggplant "bacon," onions, lettuce, tomatoes and vegan mayo.
Non-vegan options include the Plaza Midwood, an egg, feta, spinach and red onion sandwich; and the Logie BBLT, made with blue cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo.

Yelper Emily R. wrote, "They have a great menu of sandwiches and salads — but there are a ton of interesting options. They have two separate menus, one for vegans/vegetarians with multiple options for dairy-free cheese and meat substitutes plus a vegan bread."
Christine L. noted, "What a great addition. The menu is basic with breakfast/lunch sandwiches, salads, awesome bakery goods, full coffee bar and a good selection of beers."
Deli St is open from 7 a.m.–8:30 p.m. from Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.–9:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 8 a.m.–4 p.m. on Sunday.
