Guapo's of Georgetown

Wander over to 3050 K St. NW in Georgetown and you'll find a new outpost of local Tex-Mex chain Guapo's.
The eatery has a lengthy menu that starts off with small plates like ceviche and chile con carne. More substantial dishes include fajitas, grilled jumbo shrimp, and Oaxacan tacos made with sautéed steak, green peppers, red onions, tomatoes and cilantro, topped with fresh pineapple and avocado.
Guapo's serves margaritas and other tequila cocktails, plus wines from across Latin America.
Wingo's

Over at 2218 Wisconsin Ave. NW in Glover Park, you'll find the newest Wingo's.
The original Wingo's in Georgetown has been closed since last year due to a fire. But its beloved wings and 24 accompanying sauces, which range in spiciness from a mellow honey mustard to "suicidal," are available at the new location. Burgers, sandwiches like the breaded chicken breast in marinara sauce, plus some soups and salads, are also available.
Much larger than the original location, there's plenty of seating here to watch a game on the flat-screen TVs and enjoy one of the many beers on tap.
Momo's Cafe

Next, head to 4828 MacArthur Blvd. NW in the Palisades for Momo's Cafe, a Taiwanese spot.
The menu features appetizers like popcorn chicken, Taiwanese sausage and basil french fries, and entrees that include beef noodle soup and minced braised pork over rice. Wash it all down with one of the many teas, including milk and boba tea. For dessert, there's honey toast with a scoop of ice cream.
With five stars out of eight reviews on Yelp, the new eatery has been a hit thus far.
Dyllan's Raw Bar and Grill

A newcomer to Georgetown, Dyllan's Raw Bar and Grill is located in the Canal Square building at 1054 31st St. NW. With five stars out of six reviews on Yelp, it's off to a strong start.
The eponymous raw bar showcases both East and West Coast oysters, Atlantic quahaug, maki rolls, ceviche and octopus carpaccio. Seafood appetizers include blue crab cake, king salmon tartare and steamed mussels in a coconut lime broth. Entrees range from sautéed red snapper with kimchi to a seafood stew.
There are non-seafood items as well, such as steaks, a seasonal vegetable pot pie and a spicy vegetable tart.
