Evergreens Salad

Evergreens Salad has opened its second outpost in the Bellevue area, serving wraps, grain bowls and salads. 

Popular menu options include the El Sombrero (lettuce, avocado, tomatoes, fire-roasted corn and jalapeños with cilantro lime dressing); Rice Rice Baby (spinach, brown rice, carrots and snap peas with balsamic glaze); and The Super Bowl (quinoa, turkey, tomatoes and almonds with red wine vinaigrette). Protein can be added for an additional fee. 

Evergreens Salad currently holds four stars out of three reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Alissa K. wrote, "Loving the new Evergreens location! The staff is super friendly, plus the hours of this location make it much easier for those of us who work later shifts and still want a salad during our break. It's literally a block and a half from Bellevue Square which is super convenient."

Evergreens Salad is open from 10 a.m.–9 p.m. daily.

Blowout salon chain Drybar recently debuted a new downtown shop, offering shampoos with a blow-dry, updos, reparative hair masks, facial treatments, braids, scalp messages and more.

Yelper Lindsay E., who reviewed it on Sept. 9, wrote, "Francine did an amazing job. I'm off to a wedding and look fabulous. She was super cute and bubbly and made my day! Fabulous place!"

Yelper Makiah H. wrote, "So happy this is finally in the Pacific Northwest! The quick appointments, customer service and great smelling products have always made this my go-to for a quick blowout before an event."

Drybar is open 7 a.m.–8 p.m. Monday–Wednesday, 7 a.m.–9 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 8 a.m.–9 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m.–7 p.m. on Sunday. 

Happy Lemon

Happy Lemon is an international chain where visitors can score bubble tea, juice and smoothies. Happy Lemon's specialty is milk tea, but it also offers matcha drinks and bubble waffles. 

Look for black tea with salted cheese, bubble milk tea with puff cream, a banana matcha latte, a red bean pudding latte or a mango lemon slushy. Cold brew coffee and other handcrafted concoctions are also available, as are seasonal offerings like the strawberry black tea with lychee jelly. Check out the full list of menu options here.

Yelpers are generally positive about Happy Lemon, which currently holds four stars out of 119 reviews on the site.

Angel L., who reviewed the shop on Sept. 9, wrote, "The milk tea was creamy, yet rich in tea flavor, and the boba was so good. It was soft and chewy at the same time."

And Julia A. noted, "They use fresh ingredients here but the time to make the drinks is something that can definitely be improved upon."

Happy Lemon is open from 9:30 a.m.–9:30 p.m. on Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m.–7 p.m. on Sunday.

Reality Break Escapes

Reality Break Escapes is an hourlong escape game spot featuring numerous rooms like Cypherspace, where players must collect data from a wormhole in deep space before their ship is lost to a black hole, and The Lucky Duck Speakeasy, where you need to find an illegal kingpin of alcohol sales before a bomb blows up the bar where you are searching for clues. 

Reality Break aims to foster team building and rooms are recommended for up to eight players. Visit its website for a complete list of rooms, pricing and more information. 

Yelpers are excited about Reality Break Escapes, which currently holds five stars out of eight reviews.

Elena O., who reviewed the escape room spot on Sept. 9, wrote, "We had our twins' party here, and everything was amazing. Loved the rooms, the staff and the party room available after the escape experience. The team was very helpful in planning the party, and we felt welcomed and appreciated."

Braden B. noted, "My wife and I did our first escape room here and are now completely hooked. We did the Speakeasy room and the fun we had with it exceeded our expectations."
