A new cocktail and wine bar has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The new arrival to Lower Highland, called Lady Jane, is located at 2021 W. 32nd Ave.
According to Eater Denver, the new bar is a California-inspired lounge that's meant to evoke Palm Springs in the 1960s, as well as the owner's aunt Jane and her work in the recording industry. Owner Jake Soffes previously opened Capitol Hill's Hudson Hill.
The bar offers craft cocktails named after Beach Boys songs and lyrics, like the Brand New Love Affair. There's also a wine list and a small food menu.
With a five-star rating out of nine reviews on Yelp so far, Lady Jane has already made a good impression.
Celsey D., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Aug. 26, wrote, "Such an incredible addition to the LoHi neighborhood! Lady Jane encompasses everything a neighborhood cocktail bar should be: phenomenal cocktails, relaxing atmosphere and friendly, talented cocktails artists and staff!"
And Trevor R. wrote, "This place is the real deal! Such a great location. Perfect addition to the neighborhood. Really happy it's down the street. Looking forward to making it my go-to bar. The staff was great, very knowledgeable about making that perfect drink."
