A new barbershop has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Old Town Barbershop, the fresh addition is located at 323 First Ave. South, inside the Callus building in Pioneer Square.
Focusing mainly on men's haircuts, barbers Seth Javier and Mike Weinberg offer classic cuts, shear work, beard trims, neck trims and a classic combo of haircut and beard trim. Check out the shop's website for more information.
With a five-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, Old Town Barbershop is on its way to developing a local fan base.
Brad D., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Sept. 13, wrote, "The owner, Mike, has been cutting my hair since 2012. Four or five hairstyles and a couple of shops later, I'm excited to see Mike with his own shop."
Yelper Erica B. added, “The shop is always clean and lovely, the barbers are always knowledgeable, courteous and friendly, and the haircuts are always the best."
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Old Town Barbershop is open from 11 a.m.–7 p.m. on Tuesday-Friday and 11 a.m.–6 p.m. on Saturday. (It's closed on Monday and Sunday.)
