There's a brand-new brewery in town. The fresh addition downtown, called Roadmap Brewing Co., is located at 723 N. Alamo St.

It has rotating taps with brews that include the Mama Dukes (a balanced IPA with citrus, pine and malty caramel flavors), the Craven Cottage (an English pub ale with biscuit and toffee flavors) and the Obligatory (a German-style light ale).

The new brewery has already attracted fans thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.

Stacy E., who reviewed the new spot on Sept. 17, wrote, "I like all the beers, but my favorite is the jalapeño milk stout because it's a different type of taste but once you have a sip you want to keep drinking. They have two ordering places. You can sit at the bar or take a seat from their many wood tables, which are comfortable to sit at."

Yelper Mary G. added, "I'm happy to see San Antonio's craft beer community growing! Love the open floor plan and giant windows. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere was great for social gatherings."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Roadmap Brewing Co. is open from 4–10 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, 4 p.m.–midnight on Friday, noon–midnight on Saturday and noon–8 p.m. on Sunday. (It's closed on Monday and Tuesday.)
