
A new Indian eatery has opened for business in the neighborhood. Located at 15100 SE 38th St., Suite 305A in the Eastgate Plaza, the fresh addition is called Tamarindos Indian Restaurant.
Look for classic dishes like deep-fried lentil dumpling balls; salmon smoked on a tawa pan with a blend of spices; and chicken tikka kebabs marinated in yogurt and traditional Indian spices. Weekend specials, curries, Indo-Chinese dishes, biryanis, vegetarian fare, desserts and kids' meals round out the expansive menu.
With a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, Tamarindos Indian Restaurant has already made a good impression.
Ramki D., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Sept. 21, wrote, "Nice, tasty and simply delicious. If you are looking for Indian food that has true Indian flavors and spices then this is the right place!"
And Hari K. wrote, "Excellent food! Wide varieties and great selection of items in the menu. The pricing is reasonable and the quantity is appropriate. Good amount of rice comes along with naan."
