Itching to find out about the newest restaurant and retail additions to Stockton? From a pizza pub to a downtown café, read on to see the newest establishments to open for business around town.
Caps Pizza And Tap House

A new addition to Anderson, Caps Pizza And Tap House is a pizza pub located at 7628 Pacific Ave. With free pool and darts and over a dozen craft brews on tap, the new pizzeria has enjoyed a rapturous reception: it's got a five-star rating out of 16 reviews on Yelp.
The pizzeria offers a build-your-own pizza option, with unusual toppings like buffalo sauce and blue cheese as well as more typical marinara and mozzarella, as we recently reported.
Vegan and gluten-free choices are available too, as are eight signature pizzas, like the Arti Lover with white sauce, mozzarella, chicken, artichoke and black olives. (See the menu here.)
Salon 6 Central

New to 6 Central Court in the University is Salon 6 Central, a hair salon. Yelpers are fans of the new salon's services: it's got five stars out of eight reviews so far.
As we reported in July, the new salon caters primarily to women, with coloring, cuts, straightening and styling for special events. Clients can book appointments through the spot's Yelp page or call from its website.
The Downtowner

And new to 40 N. Sutter St. in Downtown is the aptly named The Downtowner, a spot to score wraps, salads and sandwiches as well as some comfort foods.
The café offers plenty of light and vegetarian options like a chile-watermelon-mint salad with feta cheese and honey-Tajin dressing, as well as heartier sandwiches and breakfast choices like the chicken and waffle, with a bacon-confit chicken thigh and maple syrup glaze.
Yelpers are liking the new joint: it's kept its 4.5-star rating and added more reviews since our recent reporting. You can check out the full menu here.
