Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top poke sources in Baltimore, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of the best spots to satisfy your cravings.
1. Hilo
Topping the list is Hilo at the R. House food hall. It offers a list of signature bowls, like the spicy Hawaiian of ahi tuna and salmon with spicy mayo, avocado and more, or you can design your own. What's more, there are also sushi burritos and rolls. Located at 301 W. 29th St., Suite 1010 in Remington, it is the highest-rated poke spot in Baltimore, boasting 4.5 stars out of 47 reviews on Yelp.
2. Ono Poke
Next up is downtown's Ono Poke, situated at 413 W. Baltimore St., Suite 100. The locally owned spot also has house-designed bowls and the option to design your own. If raw ahi tuna or salmon isn't your thing, you can get cooked shrimp instead. There are also sandwiches, including one with garlic pork sausage and a burger. With four stars out of 50 reviews on Yelp, the eatery has proven to be a local favorite.
3. Gallery Grill & Poke House
Mount Vernon's Gallery Grill & Poke House, located in a small brick building at 13 W. Centre St., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving it four stars out of 41 reviews. Fish options include salmon and spicy tuna, which are served with edamame, avocado, carrot, cucumber and more. There are also sushi rolls, sushi burritos and a list of Chinese dishes, from kung pao chicken to steak fried rice.
