Dingfelder's Delicatessen

Dingfelder's Delicatessen is a deli that currently features a walk-up window only. It sells New York-style sandwiches and sides. Egg salad, corned beef and pastrami offerings are available between slices of bread, as are extras such as coleslaw, chopped chicken liver and potato salad. 

Eater Seattle reports diners will have to get their sandwiches to go for the next several months while the deli works to build the sit-down restaurant. 

Yelpers are excited about Dingfelder's Delicatessen, which currently holds 4.5 stars out of 14 reviews on the site.

Jessen M., who reviewed the deli on Sept. 9, wrote, "Pricey, but big and delicious. My husband and I split one, which was enough food for us. The sodas were also tasty! The service was great!"

Anne D. noted, "We don't have a lot of Jewish delis in Seattle so this is something to get excited about and appreciate. Sink your teeth into that juicy sandwich. Bite into the crunchy pickles. Savor those flavors."

Dingfelder's Delicatessen is open from 11 a.m.–7 p.m. daily.

Dao Tai House

Dao Tai House is a Chinese restaurant that offers appetizers, entrees and premium plates. Expect choices such as candied yams, clay pot tofu soup with meatballs and chicken and salt and pepper chicken wings.

Premium options must be ordered two days in advance and include whole yellow croakers, braised abalone and king crab fish maw soup. Thirsty? Pair your meal with a smoothie or milk tea or fruit tea. (See the menus here.)

Yelpers are generally positive about Dao Tai House, which currently holds four stars out of 28 reviews.

Jason D., who reviewed the eatery on Sept. 9, wrote, "This place has the most authentic Guo Bao Rou dish in the U.S., period. I also recommend the pork in clay pot, and Di San Xian."

Sara C. noted, "A good honest business with solid food from the Dong Bei province. I ordered the cold dish with shredded potato and garlic cucumber; the eggplant and potato dish; and the spicy fish stew. The cold dishes were very yummy and extra garlicky, just how I like it."

Dao Tai House is open from noon–11 p.m. daily.

Realfine Coffee

Realfine Coffee is a locally owned spot that is serving up both hot and cold caffeinated beverages. Its original location is in West Seattle and was featured as one of the 25 Top Coffee Shops of 2016 by Seattle Met magazine. 

This spot's mission is "to create a coffee experience of the highest quality in a welcoming environment," per its website. Expect a number of coffee and tea offerings. 

Realfine Coffee currently holds five stars out of seven reviews on Yelp, indicating good reviews.

Yelper Sara A., who reviewed the new shop on Aug. 8, wrote, "Stopped in for an afternoon americano while is Seattle for the afternoon. Very tasty coffee that was super smooth. Fast and straightforward."

Yelper Manuel G. wrote, "This drip coffee is amazing. I didn't even want to add half and half to it. Cute spot with a great staff."

Realfine Coffee is open from 7 a.m.–7 p.m. daily.

The Belmont Lounge

The Belmont Lounge is a cocktail bar, wine bar and lounge with a British colonial feel that aims to capture the eccentricity of London with its five seating areas, each with its own distinct personality.

Look for cocktails such as the Vesper with three parts dry gin and one part vodka with a twisted garnish; the scotch-based Blood and Sand with orange juice and bitters; or the Don Draper, a mix of bourbon and rye served with a rock. 

Hungry? The Belmont Lounge offers small plates with choices such as deviled eggs, stuffed mushrooms, Tuscan meatballs and European cheese charcuterie. Check out the establishment's website for a complete list of offerings. 

The Belmont Lounge is off to a strong start with 4.5 stars out of 21 reviews on Yelp.

Diane C. noted, "Really love how this former wine bar turned into a lounge where I love to grab whiskey-based cocktails. The ambiance is really comfortable and chill with a touch of class."

Yelper Lana P. wrote, "Classic and classy without feeling stuffy or snooty. Inside feels like the library you wish you had. Well lit and breezy with comfortable leather couches and plush rugs."

The Belmont Lounge is open from 5–10 p.m. on Tuesday-Thursday and 5 p.m.–midnight on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Monday and Sunday.)

Zorro Vintage

Zorro Vintage is a boutique shop offering a curated selection of women's vintage clothing. It started off as an online-only business in 2017 and opened its brick-and-mortar location earlier this year. Zorro Vintage says it's "inspired by sustainability, quality and one-of-a-kind true vintage with a modern twist," per its Facebook page. 

Jewelry, home furnishings, furniture and a small selection of men's offerings are available for purchase. Women will find everything from a vintage Christian Dior overcoat and formalwear to a 1960s Panama hat and totes.

With a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp, Zorro Vintage has been getting positive attention.

Yelper Beau K. wrote, "I was visiting a friend in Seattle for the weekend and stumbled upon this gem while there. The clothes are just beautiful."

Teresita M. noted, "Absolutely love this shop! I'm so happy Leslie opened up in Capitol Hill. I have purchased quite a few pieces from her and can't stop coming back. Classy and beautiful taste."

Zorro Vintage is open from 11 a.m.–7 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and noon–6 p.m. on Sunday. (It's closed on Tuesday.)
