Bremerton’s long-awaited Chick-fil-A finally has an opening date, and the first customers will have a chance to trade cow spots for free chicken. The restaurant’s grand opening is set for next Tuesday at 6 a.m., bringing a fresh fast-food traffic test to East Bremerton.
According to Kitsap Sun, the restaurant will be Washington’s 29th Chick-fil-A and the chain’s first location west of Tacoma. Development work began in September 2025, after months of planning for the site along Highway 303.
A Double Drive-Thru Built For A Busy Corridor
The project’s approved plans call for two drive-thru lanes, indoor dining, an indoor playground, outdoor seating and 98 parking spaces. A Kitsap County land-use decision also describes new access points from NE Fuson Road and NE Vena Avenue.
That road setup could matter as much as the chicken sandwich: Kitsap Sun reports that northbound traffic will not be able to make left turns onto Vena Avenue, while drive-thru vehicles should enter at the traffic signal on Fuson Road. The project also added wider lanes and sidewalks along part of Highway 303.
Cow Costumes Get The Opening-Day Spotlight
Customers who arrive dressed like cows will be offered one free entrée on opening day, while supplies last. The promotion follows Chick-fil-A’s familiar cow-themed marketing and its recent Washington openings, where the company offered a similar free-food deal for guests wearing cow print, according to the Chick-fil-A press room.
The chain’s official Bremerton listing identifies the restaurant as the Highway 303 and Fuson Road location and notes that, like other Chick-fil-A restaurants, it will be closed on Sundays. For everyone else, the important details are simpler: next Tuesday, 6 a.m., and probably a drive-thru line that will be hard to miss.
