Maggie's Farm Rum Distillery 5th Anniversary Party

Maggie's Farm Rum Distillery is celebrating its fifth anniversary under the 31st Street Bridge just two blocks from its location.

Admission will include live music from five bands (Greywalker, Sporadic, Stone Cold Killer, The Brothers Jenkins and Northern Gold), as well as the ability to buy $5 rum cocktails and food from a variety of food trucks.

Carnegie Mellon Wind Ensemble

The Carnegie Mellon University School of Music's Wind Ensemble will perform standard concert works and contemporary compositions in a variety of instrumental combinations including winds, brass and percussion. 

With George Vosburgh conducting, the set will include everything from Frank Zappa to Giuseppe Verdi's Three Scenes from Rigoletto and La Traviata. Tickets are free, but an Eventbrite RSVP is required.

Uncover Squirrel Hill Oktoberfest

Uncover Squirrel Hill is sponsoring its second annual Oktober Fest, featuring a self-paced stroll to tastings15 local breweries. The price of the ticket includes beer tastings at each brewery; participants will wear a bracelet to identify them.
