Rhonda Thomas

New York City native jazz and soul vocalist Rhonda Thomas was a featured soloist and background vocalist for Isaac Hayes for 11 years, and has performed with Luther Vandross and Roberta Flack, among others. Her latest album, "Vinyl Daze," reached #11 on the Billboard Jazz Music chart.

Brytiago Primera vez en Charlotte

Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Brytiago is best known for the 2018 single "Bipolar," (with Puerto Rican artists Ozuna and Chris Jeday), which reached No. 17 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart. On Friday, he will perform in Charlotte for the first time ever.

Queen City Trance V: The V is for Vinyl

EDM club Serj is hosting an evening of DJs playing vinyl tracks both inside and outside the venue. Featured DJs at the 21 and over event will include Ryan Michael, Unity Atlanta, Esthesium, DjCkole, Stricken, George Mack & Spectre, and Soundvice and Mike Snyder.

All Hallows' Twirl 2018: “Scarier Things”

Flight beer garden and music hall is hosting a Halloween party and costume contest with dancing and a live performance by San Diego-based DJ Tristan Jaxx. 

Costumes are recommended, but not required, and the contest winner — as decided by votes on Instagram — will receive a $500 cash prize.

When: Saturday, October 20, 10:30 p.m.- Sunday, October 21 2:15 a.m.
