A new spot to score tacos and more has made its debut in the neighborhood. Located at 17627 La Cantera Parkway in the Rim shopping center, Austin-based taco chain Torchy's Tacos has opened its second San Antonio location.
Purveyor of "damn good tacos," so dubbed by its website, Torchy's Tacos features everything from classic breakfast tacos to unique creations such as the Tipsy Chick: chicken fajita, fresh spinach, grilled corn, green chiles, cheddar cheese with chipotle sauce and a side of bacon bourbon marmalade.
With a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp so far, Torchy's Tacos is off to a promising start.
Andrea P., who reviewed the new spot on Oct. 20, wrote, "They have great service ... [and] great food. [There are] lots of dining options in the area and I was glad we came here. Love their queso and chicken fajita taco; can't go wrong with any choices."
Yelper S B. added, "Love all of the tacos, the queso is crazy and they have a great bar with craft beer ... along with mixed drinks. The staff is super friendly and will take great care of you! Easy to find and enjoy dinner before a movie at the Palladium. Enjoy!"
Wondering what "damn good tacos" really taste like? Torchy's Tacos is now open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m to midnight on Friday, 8 a.m to midnight on Saturday and 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday.
