A new cocktail bar and traditional American spot has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Called Queen City, the new addition is located at 2201 First Ave. in Belltown. From Linda Derschang, also the owner of Linda's Tavern and Oddfellows, this spot collaborates with local purveyors to source its fare locally.

Starters include deviled eggs, fries and a classic Caesar salad. Looking for something a little more hearty? Try the Smith Burger served with fries, Parisian gnocchi with tomatoes and basil or a classic club sandwich with slaw. Thirsty? A number of wines and signature cocktails are on offer. Here's the menu.

The new spot currently has a 3.5-star rating on Yelp based on six reviews.

Yelper Clyde B., who reviewed Queen City on Sept. 14, wrote, "The atmosphere is beautiful. I love the jackalope, it was my favorite. The music had the perfect vibe for a Friday night. I highly recomend the Daisy Dukes cocktail: a refreshing gin and cucumber cocktail."

Yelper Brenna K. wrote, "Ambiance? On point. Kitchen? Amazing. The food is tasty, the people are fun and service is fast. Cocktail list? So excited to come back and try more!"

Queen City is open from 4–11 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and 4 p.m.–2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
