
Looking for a place where you can do your banking while sipping a cup of coffee? Capital One Café has you covered. Located in Chinatown at 732 Seventh St. NW, it's just down the street from the Capital One Arena.
The new spot is part café, co-working space and bank branch. Anyone is welcome, but Capital One cardholders get a discount on the Peet's Coffee. There's free Wi-Fi and a variety of solo and group seating arrangements.
Capital One staff — including money coaches — are also on hand to provide financial advice and answer questions about accounts, a service accessible to both cardholders and the general public alike.
With a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, Capital One Café is off to a promising start.
Gregory J., who reviewed the new spot on Oct. 4, wrote, "I had a really pleasant experience here and because I'm a Capital One customer, they offer coffee at 50 percent off. They also have a ton of outlets and seating in a prime Chinatown location."
And Terah H. wrote, "The space is lovely, with lots of room to bring in a laptop and get some work done. The staff was extremely friendly and the coffee was great. It had a much nicer feel than the other coffee places in the surrounding area."
