Public Land Store

Now open at 2598 21st St. in Curtis Park is Public Land Store, a plant nursery and art gallery. It combines an assortment of unusual cacti and succulents with handmade pottery, baskets, pillows and other arts and crafts with a Southwestern flair.
Tea Bar & Fusion Cafe

Wander over to 2700 Capitol Ave. in Midtown and you'll find Tea Bar & Fusion Cafe, a Chico-based fast-casual spot specializing in healthy fusion food and non-alcoholic tea mocktails, served hot, iced, and blended.
The new café has remained popular with Yelpers since our initial reporting: in less than a month open, it's got five stars out of 30 reviews.
El Nopal Mexican Grill

And over at 1119 21st St. in Midtown is El Nopal Mexican Grill, a spot to score tacos and more. Diners can get its street-style tacos on house-made corn tortillas, filled with carne asada, chicken, chorizo or nopales (edible cactus paddles from the prickly pear cactus) and beans, as we recently reported.
