A new Korean fusion restaurant has made its debut in the neighborhood. Choong Man Chicken Draft House is located at 3115 14th St. NW in Columbia Heights.
On the menu, you'll find a variety of beers and Korean-style fried chicken dishes, including the Snow Onion Chicken with fried chicken topped with sliced onion and smothered in either a savory, creamy sauce or a spicy curry sauce.
Diners can also opt for pizzas, like the smoky barbecue bulgogi with mozzarella cheese, chopped ribeye, red onion and hickory barbecue sauce.
Choong Man Chicken Draft House has received mixed reviews thus far, with a two-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.
Melanie H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 17, wrote, "After coming out of the straight-up gutter of the Heights Tap Room, we have some good chicken."
And Zilon B. wrote, "The curry chicken is the best. Service was bad but the food made up for it, which is the only reason why I will come back."
