Topping the list is Tease Studio. Located at 3534 Walnut St. in Five Points, the pole dancing and personal training spot is the highest-rated dance studio in Denver, boasting 4.5 stars out of 44 reviews on Yelp.

2. The Freyja Project

Next up is Highland's The Freyja Project, situated at 3456 Tejon St. With 4.5 stars out of 41 reviews on Yelp, the studio, which also serves as a massage therapy and yoga spot, has proven to be a local favorite.

3. Barre Forte

Barre Forte, located at 6895 E. Hampden Ave. in Southmoor, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the dance studio and barre class spot 4.5 stars out of 30 reviews. It currently has five studios in the area, with two more on the way. 

It offers a variety of classes that incorporate ballet barres, including its signature Barre Forte class, which features controlled movements, isometric holds and high repetition to develop a strong, lean physique. There's also Barre Groove, which adds cardio dance moves to the classic workout.

Yelp reviewer Holly K. wrote, "Best workouts with the best instructors! I've been to a few other barre studios closer to where I live and they don't even compare. The instructors know you by name, which is a nice personal touch that keeps you coming back."
