Premier Meat Pies

Premier Meat Pies is an eatery that recently opened up at Pier 54 on the waterfront. In additional to savory meat pies, this spot also features sweet fruit pies and combination platters.
Look for meaty pies like steak and mushroom or mac and cheese with herbed breadcrumbs, and fruity options like cherry berry and apple peach cobbler. Here is the menu.

Felicia D., who reviewed the new spot on Sept. 30, wrote, "I was definitely a little afraid when I heard the term 'meat pies,' but this place is amazing! Think of personal-sized pot pies, but with different varieties of delicious fillings."
Isaiah S. wrote, "Stopped in for dessert and coffee on a rainy Sunday evening. The chocolate banana bread pudding pie Elvis-style is amazing! The atmosphere is calm and cool."

Amazon Go is a cashierless grocery store that allows customers to pay through an online app. According to USA Today, "the store uses proprietary technology made up of hundreds of cameras and sensors to see what customers have taken." Download the App Store or Google Play app here.
With a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp, Amazon Go has been getting positive attention.
Yelper James M., who reviewed the store on Aug. 8, wrote, "First time at Amazon Go! It's so simple. Scan, shop and go. Five stars to the friendliest staff ever!"
Yelper Victor R. wrote, "Welcome to the future! Visiting Seattle for business we found the Amazon Go store on our way to the hotel. The staff was super friendly, helping customers to download the app with their free Wi-Fi."
Amazon Go is open from 7 a.m.–7 p.m. on weekdays. (It's closed on weekends.)
Fog Room
1610 Second Ave.

Fog Room is a rooftop cocktail bar and lounge in the Charter Hotel. Signature cocktails rule the drink menu. Expect boozy concoctions like the rum-based Deep Six with Amaro Abano, angostura bitters, smoke and an orange twist or the ginny Eclipse, complete with lime, raspberry, tawny port and cider.
Munch on bites and small plates such as bacon-wrapped dates, sardines on toast, smoked trout roe and grilled pork belly. Check out the full menu here.
With a four-star rating out of 14 reviews on Yelp, Fog Room is off to a strong start.
Yelper Eric V., who reviewed it on Oct. 10, wrote, "Fog Room was a very cool atmosphere. ... This lounge had great views and a great selection of drinks. Definitely would recommend if you are looking for a place to hang around and have good conversations."
Dawn G. noted, "Being 16 stories high provides for great views of the city in one of the very few rooftop bars in Seattle. It's still fairly new so there are a few kinks to work out but it's totally worth a visit."

Patagon
1610 Second Ave.

Patagon is a bar, Argentine and New American spot on the first floor of the aforementioned Charter Hotel and features darker tones, leather chairs and a central open grill, per Eater Seattle.
Expect ricotta pancakes and avocado toast for breakfast; pasta, empanadas and a variety of sandwiches for lunch; and large salads, seafood and other protein-centric entrees for dinner.
Thirsty? Signature cocktails are also on offer. Take a look at the Vines of Paradise with vodka, elderflower, lime, rosemary and sparkling wine or gin-infused Nine Queens with lemon, ginger, tea and tonic.
Patagon currently holds 4.5 stars out of 14 reviews on Yelp, indicating good reviews.
Yelper Grant S., who reviewed it on Sept. 9, wrote, "What a great new spot! Came here on a whim and couldn't have had a better night. Only three weeks in, and this place is running pretty nicely."
