Pizza fans, take heed: there's a new spot in town to get your fix. Located at 233 Elm St. in Davis Square, the fresh addition is called Dragon Pizza.
It is serving up thin-crust, New York-style pies, with combos like house-made sausage and ricotta, bacon and cheddar with chili maple syrup, and clam with sausage and kale. There are always a handful of slices available, too, including cheese and pepperoni.
Not in the mood for pizza? There are also kebabs cooked on a smoker grill, salads and gelato for dessert.
With a 4.5-star rating out of 15 reviews on Yelp so far, Dragon Pizza is on its way to developing a local fan base.
Bob M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Oct. 1, wrote, "My least favorite quality in a pizza is blandness, and Dragon Pizza punches you with flavor. For my wife, the pizza was a little too greasy and a little too salty. For me, it was pure perfection."
And Jason M. wrote, "I got a three-cheese slice and it was great. Excited to go back and try some with toppings, they looked good as well. Service was friendly and quick."
Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Dragon Pizza is open from 5 p.m.–midnight Monday-Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
