A new indoor cycling studio has opened for business in the neighborhood. Called Rush Cycle, the newcomer is located at 4650 Barranca Parkway in the Woodbridge neighborhood.

With locations from coast to coast, the growing national franchise chain offers an "efficient cardio workout while maintaining a premium level of quality, intimacy and convenience," the company says on its website.

Both experienced athletes and newbies are welcome to attend the upbeat cycling sessions complete with heart-pumping music, dim lighting and experienced instructors. (See the full class schedule here.)

With a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, Rush Cycle seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Alyssa C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Oct. 13, wrote, "Jaclyn's class was super upbeat and fun, but still a very challenging workout! I felt amazing after. Super excited to become a part of the Rush Cycle community!"

"I'm not a cardio person, but I love cycling with Esther," wrote Yelper Nancy P. "She is one of the instructors here. She's super energetic and makes her class extremely fun."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Rush Cycle is open from 5 a.m.–7:30 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday, 5 a.m.–6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 7 a.m.–noon on Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
