Craving poke? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 1620 Broadway in Capitol Hill, the fresh arrival is called FOB Poke Bar.
FOB Poke Bar, which has another eatery in Belltown, features a fast-casual dining experience. First, choose a base of white rice, brown rice, a mixture of the two, spring mix, kale, arugula or tortilla chips. Next, add mix-ins and protein (ahi tuna, salmon, albacore, scallops, shrimp, grilled chicken, Spam, octopus) before completing your meal with your choice of sauce and toppings. Here's the menu.
With a 4.5-star rating out of 14 reviews on Yelp so far, FOB Poke Bar has been warmly received by patrons.
Phil M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Sept. 26, wrote, "I think this is the best poke spot in Seattle. This new location is bigger than the Belltown location and is central to Capitol Hill. I got the large two scoops salmon and a scoop of seared tuna."
And Melissa C. wrote, "I went here with my boyfriend during their grand opening and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The menu is very well designed and easy to understand."
