Looking to chow down on Asian fare? A new food hall has you covered. Called Pike Kitchen, the new arrival is located at the Edmonston Crossing shopping center at 1066 Rockville Pike.
The spacious establishment hosts several vendors serving cuisine from across the continent. Bowl Play does bibimbap and poke bowls. Pike Chicken & Beer serves up Korean-Style chicken, while K Street offers a variety of Korean food. Japomen is mostly ramen, and Viet sells phở and banh mi sandwiches. There is also a bakery, a bubble tea house and more on the way.
With a four-star rating out of 18 reviews on Yelp so far, Pike Kitchen is off to a promising start.
Angela N., who was among the first Yelpers to review the food hall on Oct. 23, wrote, "I customized my tuna poke bowl and couldn't have been happier with Bowl Play and will definitely come back to try the others. The hall is sleek, open, clean and streamlined."
And Eddie K. wrote, "Awesome food hall located by Iron Age. Love the whole concept and the food vendors. During peak time the seats do fill up, so you might be standing there waiting for people to vacate their seats."
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Pike Kitchen is open from 7 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.–midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 8 a.m.–9 p.m. on Sunday.
