A new Italian lunch spot has debuted in the neighborhood. Located at 2306 Sixth Ave. in the Denny Triangle, the fresh arrival is called G.H. Pasta Co. and comes courtesy of chef Brian Clevenger (also of Le Messe, Raccolto and others), Eater Seattle reports.
This place offers a fast-casual alternative to upscale Italian fare. Notable menu options include rigatoni with tomato and oregano; bucatini with Manila clams, Fresno chiles and white wine; and spaghetti Bolognese. The menu also features vegetarian dishes like the fusilli with pesto, walnuts and root vegetables.
G.H. Pasta Co. has already attracted fans thus far, with a five-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp.
Richard S., who reviewed the new spot on Oct. 25, wrote, "This is a convenient and quick place for lunch. I had the spaghetti with lamb Bolognese. The pasta was cooked to a proper, chewy al dente, but the Bolognese was more saucy as opposed to a meat sauce."
Yelper Cory S. added, “My first visit to this place, and I'm very impressed. I ordered the mushroom tagliatelle and it didn't disappoint. Perfectly cooked al dente pasta, lobster mushrooms, creme fraiche and fresh mint.”
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: G.H. Pasta Co. is open from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. daily.
