Tap & Burger is a burger joint and beer bar that also offers sandwiches, salads, cocktails and more. It's in the Denver Tech Center's Belleview Station development and has additional outposts in LoHi and in the Sloan's Lake area.
The menu offers burgers like the Tap Burger (house sauce, root beer pulled pork, onion rings, American cheese and aged white cheddar), the Chimichurri (iceberg lettuce, aged white cheddar, tomato and chimichurri) and the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger (belly bacon, caramelized onion, barbecue sauce, leaf lettuce, tomato and aged white cheddar). The Hound Sports Pub + Burger recently opened with burgers, craft beers and pub fare.
If you're there for a burger, you'll see options like the Royale (with provolone, bacon and pub sauce), the Hound (with corned beef, Thousand Island and Swiss on marble rye) and the Big Bang (with a grilled banger, grilled onions and provolone covered in house gravy). The former T&R Burgers has reopened under new ownership and is now 303 Burgers.
The burgers are made with fresh, never-frozen beef and locally sourced ingredients. On the menu, look for specials like the Denver Double (with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, ketchup, yellow mustard and mayo), the Lil' Tammy (with jalapeños, jalapeño jam, ghost pepper cheese, house seasoning and andouille sausage) and the Lil' Rob (two onion rings, barbecue sauce, bacon and cheddar).
