Need more cheesesteaks in your life?

Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top cheesesteak sources in Baltimore, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to satisfy your cravings.

1. Pasta Mista

Topping the list is Pasta Mista, the locally owned spot for subs and pizza. Located at 3600 Boston St. in Canton, it is the highest-rated cheesesteak spot in Baltimore, boasting four stars out of 97 reviews on Yelp. It has two other locations in the area.

The cheesesteak is made with steak, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, hot peppers and provolone. It's usually served on a roll, but you can also get it on the house-made focaccia. 

2. Choi's Chicken & Trout

Next up is Choi's Chicken & Trout. It's in Cherry Hill at the Patapsco Village Shopping Center, 3436 Annapolis Road.

Among its long list of subs and sandwiches, you'll find classic ribeye cheesesteaks served on a hoagie, but there are also versions that add chicken, fish or shrimp. As you might expect, fried chicken and trout are among the other house specialties.

With 4.5 stars out of 28 reviews on Yelp, the eatery has proven to be a local favorite.

3. Silks

Canton's Silks, located at 2641 Hudson St., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the sports bar and traditional American spot four stars out of 43 reviews.

The house-favorite cheesesteak is loaded with meat, cheese, onions and bell peppers, and it comes with a side of another house favorite, the "sidewinder" fries. Spice it up with one of the many hot sauces.

The full bar has an impressive list of craft brews and TVs tuned to sports games.

4. Sunny's Sub

Last up, Sunny's Sub in Northwood Plaza is another go-to, with four stars out of 43 Yelp reviews.

Though it's most famous, perhaps, for its chicken boxes (chicken wings and fries), the longtime staple has regular, chicken, shrimp and even crab cheesesteaks. Get it with double meat, if you dare. Other options include fish subs, hot dogs and burgers.
