Regional restaurant group Mi Pueblo Mexican Grill has opened a new location in Charlotte. Located at 7003 University City Blvd., this is its 10th eatery in the state and second in the city.
On the menu, offerings include a vegetarian chalupa, arroz con pollo (grilled chicken over rice with cheese sauce), pork in salsa verde, fajitas, chimichangas and house specials. The current dinner menu can be viewed here.
The newcomer has gotten good reviews thus far, with a 3.5-star rating out of nine reviews on Yelp.
Yelper Meleah S., who reviewed Mi Pueblo Mexican Grill on Oct. 18, wrote, "We attended the grand opening event and were pretty pleased. The menu had a ton of options and there were some great bar offerings, as well."
Yelper Joshua K. wrote, "We visited the newest Mi Pueblo location tonight for their soft opening (dinner hours only) and while it certainly had some hiccups it was still a nice evening with a decent meal."
