A new personal training and boot camp spot has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Located at 17639 Chatsworth St. in Granada Hills, the fresh arrival is called SuperNinjaFitness.

"Things change for the better when we take responsibility for our own thoughts, decisions and action," says owner and accredited trainer Eric Thomas on his business's website.

Originally from St. Louis, Thomas has experience training everyone from Division II athletes to stroke and accident victims, offering professional guidance and personal training for those looking to "get moving."

Intensive boot camp programs are on offer as well, along with individualized online training developed with your personal goals in mind. (Visit the website here for additional information).

SuperNinjaFitness is off to a promising start with a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.

Arevik B., who reviewed the new business on Oct. 5, wrote, "I am currently on my second round of 10 sessions. I have lost inches and can see the changes in my body and face. I feel stronger, I sleep better — not only does my body feel good, but it's my mind as well."

"JD (aka James) has completely changed my perspective in fitness and in general," shared Yelper LA Belle C. "If you're looking for knowledge in depth and challenging yourself to be the best version of yourself in a fitness aspect, he is the man to go to."

Head on over to check it out: SuperNinjaFitness is open from 6 a.m.–2 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. (It's closed on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.)
