Every year since 1994, people have been celebrating World Vegan Day on November 1. That being said, you don't have to be a strict vegan to enjoy Sacramento's vegan fare.

Fortunately, there are plenty of options from which to choose. To help, Hoodline combed through Yelp data and applied our own secret sauce to come up with some of the best destinations for vegans in Sacramento.

1. The Coconut On T

Topping the list is The Coconut On T. Located at 1110 T St. in Southside Park, the Thai spot boasts 4.5 stars out of 930 reviews on Yelp.

Although the menu is not entirely plant-based, almost all entrees can be made vegan on request — like the popular Avocado Curry, as well as other Thai favorites like tom kha soup, pad Thai, and drunken noodles.

2. Pushkins Bakery

3. Veg Café
