If you've got Thai on the mind, this recent opening is a need-to-know destination. Thai Kitchen is located at 7015 Wisconsin Ave. in downtown Bethesda.

Start with the curry puff or the papaya salad, which includes green papaya, green beans, tomatoes, roasted peanuts, carrots and a spicy lime dressing.

For dinner, choose between several curries, fried noodles, fried rice and soups. You can also build your own stir-fry with either chicken, beef, shrimp or tofu. Then choose your style, such as the Ka Prow with basil leaves, green beans, onions, garlic and chili.

With a 3.5-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp so far, the new addition has gotten a good response.

J.R., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Oct. 16, wrote, "Great place for Thai in downtown Bethesda. The prices are very reasonable. The food is also very good."

Yelper Marissa S. added, “This is a pretty decent fast-casual Thai place, which the Bethesda strip was definitely lacking."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Thai Kitchen is open from 11 a.m.–9:30 p.m. daily.
