A new Asian fusion restaurant has opened for business in the neighborhood. The new addition, called The Red Boat, is located at 440 Crain Highway North in Glen Burnie.

The local mini-chain boasts an eclectic menu with traditional phở; tacos stuffed with lemongrass chicken or pork, fried tofu or Korean bulgogi beef; banh mi sandwiches; and fusion options like kimchi french fries. Vietnamese- and Korean-style hot dogs and build-your-own rice, noodle and salad bowls are also on offer.

The Red Boat has proven popular thus far, with a five-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Jennifer H. noted, “Their parking is tight/limited, so you may want to call ahead for carryout. There are tables to sit inside and eat, but it's not a fancy sit-down. Great place for Asian fusion food with legit flavors.”

And Erin D. wrote, "Outstanding customer service and food! Honestly I haven't been to a place in awhile with such awesome customer service. Thanks so much for the wonderful experience."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. The Red Boat is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.–1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m.–8 p.m. on Sunday.
