Craving seafood? You're in luck: The Waterman Fish Bar, located at 2729 South Blvd., Suite D, is now open for business in the South End.
The new arrival's menu features po'boys, seafood plates, tacos, oysters and more. Look for custom craft cocktails, too, including the Pina Colada Float (Plantation Pineapple Rum, pineapple juice, almond milk, coconut popsicle) and Sunken Pirate (Wild Turkey 81 Bourbon, ginger, blueberry puree, basil, lemon).
The Waterman Fish Bar has a 3.5-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp.
Ashley C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Oct. 21, wrote, "We were there on opening night. The food was amazing! We had the chargrilled oysters, oysters on the half shell and Waterman's Platter."
Jenny B. noted, "The shrimp salad was tasty but lacked seasoning. Maybe it needs a punch of cocktail sauce. The cod sandwich is the star of this place. Perfectly cooked, with some homemade pickles and crunchy slaw."
