
Looking to chow down on some Cajun fare? A new restaurant has you covered. Located at 3500 Morrison Road in Denver's Westwood neighborhood, the newcomer is called Toasted & Cajun.
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the new spot offers not only Cajun cuisine, but Mexican, Vietnamese and American options as well. You'll see dishes like the T&C Signature Burger topped with bacon, spinach, grilled onion and Sriracha mayo; the Country Morning breakfast platter with grilled hamburger steak, two eggs and hash browns; the Ranchero Pork Chops served with hash browns, refried beans, two eggs and tortillas; and rice noodle soup with rare steak and well-done brisket. Toasted & Cajun has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a four-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp.
Jeff H., who was among the first to review it on Oct. 13, wrote, "The crab legs we ordered were excellent and the sauce they came with was amazing. The medium spice level actually had some heat to it, which was a pleasant surprise!"
Joy J. added, "So delicious. The layers of flavor made this Louisiana girl happy! The service was great and things were running smoothly. I very much appreciated the live music as well."
