A new spot to score coffee, tea, desserts, bagels and more has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Torpedo Coffee, the fresh addition is located at 2231 Oneida St. in Park Hill.

The shop offers craft coffee from local Denver roasters, plus grab-and-go food options that include breakfast burritos, croissant sandwiches, baked goods, deli sandwiches and mac and cheese. It primarily sources its coffee beans from Corvus Coffee Roasters, but also has a featured batch brew from a rotating selection of other roasters. (See the full menu here.)

With a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, Torpedo Coffee is on its way to developing a local fan base.

Steve C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Sept. 29, wrote, "Good coffee; they use Corvus beans. I had the Marionberry pie, which was delicious. The decor is fun. The stools are comfortable. And I got a free cookie on opening day!"

J G. added, "Great ambiance, fun decor. Owners are friendly and local. Coffee was great. Enjoyed a yummy breakfast sandwich. Love having this place in the neighborhood."
