A new bar and arcade has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The new arrival to the Lower East Side, called Up-Down Milwaukee, is located at 615 E. Brady St.

For gaming fans, Up-Down offers a wide selection of '80s and '90s arcade-style games like Pac-Man and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. There's also an extensive selection of local and craft brews for gamers to enjoy as they play.

Look for the pumpkin brandy barrel-aged ale, with flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg and Madagascar vanilla bean, or the Lakefront Riverfront Stein with "a balanced hoppiness."

With a 4.5-star rating out of 27 reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh arrival seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Shannon C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Sept. 30, wrote, "Super fun and the games are pretty cheap! They have a huge selection of beer on tap. Some of the games aren't that great, but either way it's a good time for everyone."

And Eric S. wrote, "Game selection was fantastic and their pinball collection was super impressive. Most of them had custom mods, including fancy color LED screens, and the few I played had terrific flow."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Up-Down Milwaukee is open from 3 p.m.–2 a.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m.–2 a.m. on weekends.
