DC PIE CO
2223 E. Colfax Ave., City Park West

DC PIE CO is a bar offering brick-oven pizza and other Italian fare.
This 2,500-square foot New York-style pizzeria and bar is influenced by co-owner Dominic Cavagnuolo's Miami Beach outpost, Lucali, according to Eater Denver.
On the menu, expect to find pizza with a wide range of toppings, meatballs, wings, artichoke hearts, salads and more. If you're looking to satisfy your sweet tooth, look for Nutella pie spread on pizza dough. Pair those eats with a cocktail like Back to the Beach, a fusion of vodka, pineapple, guava and allspice.
Yelp users are excited about DC PIE CO, which currently holds five stars out of three reviews on the site.
Kim E., who reviewed DC PIE CO on Nov. 6 wrote, "The kale caesar salad was so tender and tasty. I adore a true New York City-style pizza, and it was thin, but crisp with quality toppings and perfectly cooked with that almost charred crust that only a brick oven can provide topped with fresh basil."
DC PIE CO is open from 5 p.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 5 p.m.–11 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Sunday.
Knife & Board
3203 Quebec St., Northeast Park Hill

Knife & Board is a traditional American restaurant and cocktail bar.
Nestled inside the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel, this restaurant and bar delivers a wide selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner fare, include fish, steaks, vegetable plates, flatbreads and more.
On the breakfast menu, look for its huevos rancheros with a fried egg, red chili sauce, refried beans, pico de gallo and cheese blend. Pair that with a Bloody Mary or a mimosa cocktail. For lunch, look for the whole oven roasted fish sprinkled with lemon and herbs served with Brussels sprouts.
Knife & Board's current Yelp rating of four stars out of seven reviews indicates the newcomer is finding its way, but it's still early days.
Aldon L., who reviewed Knife & Board on Aug. 19, wrote, "The cocktails were fantastic. The Citrus Kiss is definitely my favorite. It's like a pink vodka margarita."
Knife & Board is open from 6 a.m.–10 p.m. daily.
Middleman
3401 E. Colfax Ave., City Park

Middleman is a cocktail bar and event space.
On the drink menu, expect to find a wide selection of cocktails, beer, wine and boilermakers paired with American and modern Mexican bar snacks.
Look for the space wine cocktail, a mixture of tanuki sake, herbal liquors genepy and strega, prosecco and absinthe rinse or the High Life Pony Boilermaker with cynar, made from a blend of artichoke leaves.
With a four-star Yelp rating out of 14 reviews on Yelp, Middleman has been getting positive attention.
Yelper Ryan M., who was one of the first users to visit Middleman on July 17, wrote, "Middleman is an incredible cocktail bar with some beautiful ambiance, and a wonderful patio outside. The cocktails were absolutely delicious."
Middleman is open from 4 p.m.–midnight on Monday-Thursday, 4 p.m.-2 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 4 p.m.-midnight on Sunday.
